Eewwww. First open source car looks like diarhea

Yeah, so we've been off the air for a while. But now, the 'Common', created by everyone - a little ugly bit at a time - just jolted Basic Transportation back to life. Created through 'open source' where a community shares innovations and troubleshoots together to create something - usually an operating system - this thing is part of what Netherlands Society for Nature and Environment is calling the OScar project. Look at it and tell me everyone involved isn't high as all hell.

Instead of focusing on your tastes and biases, which are so patronizingly stated, why not focus on the amazing achievement at hand.
Using communication technology, modern society has proven that it can construct the most complex of systems in a manner which has 100% transparency, and can benefit everyone. This defies (your) conventional and somewhat archaic idea of how best to design and do business in the modern world. Welcome to the twenty-first century my friend. I must warn you, you may find yourself writing many more articles about the revolution which is open source, not to mention benefiting from its fruit.

P.S. Using firefox to read this?
